I should update more but most of what I want to update is either a) long and/or b) depressing, and I don't want to read that so why would anyone else?
Yes, eventually I'll finish that other story from forever ago about the bar. But when I'm less tired.
Got some news regarding Andru's work/disability claim. Finally time for him to make the decision of whether he's going to try to go back and work part-time or if he's going to go on long-term. His health insurance is up in December, which is a nightmare but one we've been expecting. Doesn't make it any easier. He should be on my crappy insurance thru my temp agency, but I haven't got a card for him so I've got some e-mails out to clear that up. Probably the name on the social security card issue like it was at Milliman. Easy enough to clear up- IF THEY'D CALL ME! I really need to take him down to get a new social security card. It's easy to do and would take care of a huge headache.
I'm looking forward to Halloween for some anniversary romancin' in the daytime and then some Halloween partyin' at night. It will be a much needed break, and my schedule at both jobs has made it so I'll have four days off in a row. :O I'm stunned! But that means working at Pendleton on Saturday vs. at the bar, which I'd prefer. Blah. Oh well. Hopefully it won't become a regular thing.
The "day" job at Pendleton is fine. Very easy and I'm not at 40 hours, which is nice while I adjust to working doubles and/or 6 days in a row. Holidays are going to be harder. My only complaint is that it really doesn't pay enough, but at least it's not minimum wage and at least it's not me waking up at 6 or 7am.
