Professor Arkham is verbose and often misleading in his words, but his goals, despite his statements, are subservient to my own. He simply thinks far too ahead than what is healthy.
Such he may say to keep things smoothly moving alone...Yet I get the feeling that's not quite what he thinks. I suggest taking a closer look, if you will. Particularly here. Tell me what you see, if you would be so kind.
Firstly, he would be missing his head if he were to try.
Secondly, how much of the man do you truly know to possibly make that decision by? You barely know your own sons, let alone someone like Lord Chromedome.
Firstly, that is most reassuring. I hope, at any rate.
Secondly, while this is true and regrettable, the fact remains: Arkham is more than proving there is every right to be more than suspicious. His talk of the hunted as a whole should prove that. Also, in a somewhat different vein, something feels very...Homely.
Secondly, he's venting. He mentioned his plans in regards to the Hunted to me, at which time I told him to stand down from the idea. He was rather adament, and I'm certain he's venting the idea.
Either way, my business with Arkham is mine, and no one else's. I can't fathom you caring beyond the fact that it might jeopardize others, so it's hard to take what appears to be a faux-round of caring pointed in my direction.
Venting. Of course he is. I have to wonder of your own adamant insistance of it is because you wouldn't dare wish to miss something someone like myself picked up on.
You're being played for a fool, and are ignoring the warnings. You and your brother both. And that's fine. I expect no better here, concerning me. But because of it, you're playing right into that bottomfeeder's hands. If I, someone who, until now, has been utterly oblivious to the situation, can see it, then what?
Know all the details I may not, but I also have the advantage of seeing this having happened again and again before. Take it however you wish, but is far more than venting pissyness as you.
Wife I go to meet, with the second of one she took. One son is, no doubt, off to get himself so wasted he'll fail to properly drag himself home, and the other refusing to use the eyes he was given to see.
There is no martyr act, Sparda. You haven't seen her. Even Dante can see she's running to the end of her rope. Spare your pretending to be a dutiful parent in place you have failed, and at least repent yourself as the husband you failed to be as well.

Firstly, for the love of God, assure me you aren't letting the foolish bottomfeeder molest you.
Secondly, I don't believe, even with all of his...Eccentricity, Arkham is the type to employ the use of comic sans. Think deeper, Vergil.

Don't you have a wife and son to worry about?

...go. You know what takes priority, so stop acting like you don't, and go.

Leave your martyr act at the door, Vergil. Priority is what I choose to be. And for the moment, this is priority.
