We are all sardines.
Lost in a sea of confusion, milling about. Trying to reach out for something, someone. Some hold out for the better; others cave and find the first one they can reach, dismissing themselves.
We cannot see ourselves but only what others see us as. Egos are fragile and can be broken in this early stage of development.
Not until we are older will we know us.
Until then we are still sardines.
