The Wizard Of Elle
Walking down the corridor, she couldn’t help but grin.
They didn’t know.
She nodded back at those who greeted her.
Everybody knew her, who she was. The boss's daughter, but also very lethal.
That earned her some respect. Or at least she thought so. She hoped so...
If she wasn’t going to get love, if she never got loved at least she would have respect.
Everyone knew she was Elle.
The girl with the blue eyes, the blonde hair, the pink lips and the disturbed personality.
She was the one that could set them up in flames all on a whim and especially if provoked. She had an alibi anyways... She was crazy, remember?
But nobody knew what Elle was like on the inside. No one cared enough to get close to her. Proximity was something she wasn't used to, be it in terms of physical closeness or affection.
So, it was easy to hide, to conceal her feelings. Because no one had feelings for her anyways, other than fear, she guessed. But sometimes she hoped fear was good, at least it gave it's place to respect. Unspoken...
It was so easy to hide then....
After all, you don’t really have to hide if no one was looking at you or for you.
She stood there outside the door unable to contain her enthusiasm.
Blue jolts escaped her hands and brushed against the wall.
She inhaled and pushed the door open.
It helped that she could get any password from where her father kept it hidden.
“And, so, we are off to see the wizard!” she whispered to herself and giggled.
Once the door was shut behind her, she took a look at the prisoner.
He was lying on the bed, his hands crossed behind his neck.
His t-shirt and pajama pants hid not his masculine physique.
“Delicious.” She thought “And what a wizard he is!”
The man noticed her and sat up. He looked at her with a grin stretched across his face and piercing eyes, staring into hers.
“What did you say?” he sneered.
She approached the glass separating them. She knew she would be safe.
“I just commented on what a wizard you are.” She told him with a sigh.
He laughed and stood up, getting closer to the glass wall. His palms against it now, ravaging her with his eyes.
“You think I’m a wizard? Is that what they told you I am?”
She shrugged and continued to eye him curiously as she said: “They haven’t told me anything about you. Other than that you are a killer and I should stay away with you”.
He didn’t move, yet the expression on his face changed.
“And let me guess… You never do as you are told?”
She giggled and the way she flipped her hair made him think that she was decades younger than she looked. And she barely looked twenty-two.
“Oh, I do. I’m a good little girlie. I am just a sociopath. I am bit crazy, you see.”
“That’s what I thought” he started and brought his left hand to her eye-level in contact with the glass, as if caressing her face.
“Only a crazy person would stand here in front of me and feel no fear”.
“You mean you wanna hurt me already? But you don’t even know me” she complained in her childlike voice and pouted.
He raised his eyebrows.
“You have me caged here. That’s reason enough, don’t you think?”
She blinked nervously and bit her lower lip.
“But that wasn’t me. It was daddy.” she mouthed.
He let out a loud laugh, as he coarsely said:
“You are Bob’s daughter? Oh, he went into a lot of trouble to hide you from me, didn’t he?”
She narrowed her eyes confused by his words, but her playful tone remained.
“What do you mean he hid me? You are a killer, aren’t you?”
“That depends, do you have some ability for me?” he teased.
She smiled mischievously as she lifted her hand, where he could see and blue jolts escaped it in all directions.
Elle was amazed to see the transformation in his features.
His eyes lit up brighter than her sparks and his lips became a twirl.
“Electrokinesis? That’s such a beautiful power. Too big a gift for such a little girl, don’t you think?” he asked her, his heart skipping a beat.
Then came her defiant answer.
“No, actually, I don’t. The power is mine and I can do whatever I want with it”.
“Oh, come on little girl, what good have you done with it anyways?” he mocked her, his eyes burning into hers.
“Like you are planning to use it for anything good!” she scoffed.
“Touché” he said and the way he looked at her cleavage made her cheeks red.
“What’s your name?”
“Why do you want to know?” she asked him, doubt lingering in her voice.
“I want to know who I’m gonna take the power from, when I get out of this place”.
She smirked. “The name is Elle. What’s your name?” she asked him back.
He nodded and indulged her.
“Why do you want to know my name?”
“I want to know who I’m going to fantasize about tonight.”
He was seemingly impressed by her answer.
He said nothing but his eyes were undressing her, devouring every inch of her exposed flesh.
“You wouldn’t be able to take me.” He said cryptically.
“What makes you say that?” she challenged him, defiance shining in her eyes.
“Because I can hear your heart little girl. And your heart is beating like crazy. And believe me, you haven’t see the half of it”.
She brought her face so close to the glass wall, that her breath made it blurry.
“And what makes you think you have seen the whole of me?”
“Touché, again. It seems the battle is a draw today. But would you say the same if I kissed you with my hands tight around your neck?”
“Maybe... It makes me wonder if you would say the same with blue jolts dancing on your skin...” said Elle showing him her sparks again.
“Maybe we should save that for next time…” she heard him say.
“Maybe. Next time then, wizard!” she shouted going towards the door.
“Soon, Dorothy. Very soon!” and his eyes burned her back as he continued to stare at her while she was going out the door.
