Very nice to have the second part to follow up on the first. Nice to see Callie with a clue about Mark; if only the show had the same. I'll look forward to where this leads.

Thank you for your comments! I really hope that something changes in the Callie/Mark friendship, because I don't think Callie would be able to look at Mark the same way if she knew about the AZ/Mark shout-out that. Unless she continues to be the blind, clueless Callie we've seen pretty much all season--though I have to believe she's not actually that dense, and that there are or were deeper (if mostly subconscious) motives for her clinging to Mark...

Hope you continue to enjoy this, and that you continue to write fics of your own. I've been enjoying your post 7.18 snapshots and have been remiss in commenting on them. Will definitely get on that in the future!

Thanks for the follow up to the first part and it was an excellent follow up something I would have loved to have seen! You done a really good job! Good on Callie for finally telling Mark - I loved what she said to him - I would like to read more about her convo with him but most importantly I want to see her talk with Arizona

Thanks for commenting! You'll definitely get both a Callie/Mark convo and Callie/Arizona convo--full of wishful thinking on my part of things I wish we could have/will see on the show. :)

Oh man. It's so fluffy. :P And happy and hopeful and shit. I see through you!!!

Haha, on a more serious note, this is awesome. Callie starting to realize the less wonderful parts of Mark was nicely done. I absolutely cannot wait for more of this series, good lord.

And the promise of a super-magic smile is what gets us all through the day, right? And I love that Arizona is ready to just vent and keep going, but Callie is the one who insists on talking through it. Wonderful.

Haha, so this is fluffy? Okay, since you're the baby!fic fluff master, I'll roll with it. ;) I'd say we're definitely getting there, though.

I think the sad thing about how this played out on the show is that both of them seemed to just keep going, since in 7.17 we didn't really get anything other than Callie's gift of a weekend away to show that she'd taken any of what Arizona had said to heart. And then there was that whole cell phone/text message thing, and we know what happened with that! I hope Shonda is more of genius than I've given her credit for and manages to pull off this whole C/A/M co-parenting situation in a way that doesn't leave half the fandom banging their heads against the wall!

Gah, I'm horrible for taking so long to review this. Just as a_windsor for proof that I am sometimes not so timely with the review.

I like the angstyness that you do ohhh so well, but this slightly hopeful look at their dynamic is wonderful, too. Mark needs to quit his bitchin', seriously. I am so tired of it.

Banana pancakes and green goop sound fantastic. Kale is the worst. It's so bitter. I think it tastes like sweaty gym socks. :(

love that last line about the super magic smile. Can't wait to see more from you soon!

Ah, no worries--I've been getting behind with my reviews as well (I only just reviewed the second part of Careful Confessions, which I read yesterday!). :)

The angst is fun (for me), but what with Seattle Grace Mercy Death being very near-deathy, I don't think the fandom could handle much more of that agony!

Yeah, I can't imagine having to drink a kale smoothie. I do make a nice braised kale that I think Callie would enjoy, though. ;P

Thanks for the comments!
