Summary: Arizona, Callie, and Mark are going out to dinner.
Sitting in the back seat of the car, with Mark at the wheel and Callie riding shotgun, you suddenly realize that you’re seeing the rest of your life play out before your eyes. Mark and Callie are laughing over another joke you’ve missed, and something inside of you crumbles. When Callie reaches back to grasp your hand and place a kiss on your palm it’s the sweetest, most familiar thing in the world-but all you can feel is the rush of reality pressing in, and you’re beginning to drown in all the things you’ve told yourself not to say.
