Name: Conrad Ganner
Alias: "Force"
Mutation: Possesses great telekinetic power, but lacks focus. Specializes in uncontrolled waves of pure telekinetic force, which can reach several thousand newtons and at least several kilotons of concussive force. Also skilled in the creation of telekinetic barriers. No other known abilities.
History: Little is known of Conrad Ganner before M-Day. Living in seclusion in Nepal, Conrad and his wife Amalthea left behind almost no record of their existence. Amalthea Ganner was known to have been heavily mutated and it is believed that the M-Day event affected her aversely, leading to her death. Unable to cope with her loss, Conrad gave in to whatever rage and hate he had been suppressing for those many years and brought down the mountain he had been living in the shadow of. Twisted, mutilated, and barely alive in the wake of his catastrophic explosion, Conrad was found by Chinese rescue crews and reconstructed to be a powerful new weapon in the Chinese army. Needless to say, the Chinese had sorely underestimated the mutant they had in their care, and Conrad was soon free to begin his search for the source of the Mutant Purge...and answer it in kind.
Appearance: Conrad Ganner is a caucasian male, bald, with an unusual build. Kept alive by the exoskeletal carapace around his torso, which functions as an iron lung in addition to holding his vital organs in place, the event that saw his body disrupted also blew out his lower jaw, both eyes, right arm, and severed his spine. It is theorized that Conrad is kept together only by his own telekinetic power, though his cybernetic implants allow him a full range of motion, regardless. In addition to his carapace, Force favors a partial iron mask (cheekbones to neck) and matching armor over his arms and legs under heavy brown and black robes. Conrad speaks through a throat-replacement vocabulator and almost never opens his eyes, despite having replacement prothetics underneath. Caution: Conrad does not need his eyes to see in most situations. He uses his ability to sense kinetic energy instead.
Personality: Conrad requires a near-constant state of meditation to contain his telekinetic power. Conrad's mental state is unknown, but he seems to prefer letting others speak for him. He has gained a strong following among those affected by the event codenamed "M-Day" leading to speculation that either he speaks to these followers only in private, or he is merely a front for another mutant mastermind.
Evaluation: Moderate Threat. Though the mutant known as 'Force' possesses great destructive ability, he seems reluctant to unleash all but the weakest of his abilities, possibly unable to withstand greater stress to his body. Reliance on this speculation is not advised.
Name: Aiden Thompson
Alias: "Temper"
Mutation: Pyrokinetics. Temper's powers seem directly linked to his emotions--the more intense his feelings, the stronger they become. He has been recorded producing flames from as small as a match to hot enough to melt steel. Temper also seems immune to most of the flames he generates, though it is unknown to what level this immunity extends.
Appearance: A caucasian male of moderately athletic build, Aiden stands 6'1'' with blue eyes and brown hair. Favoring casual clothing over a 'uniform', Aiden nontheless wears a red and black Richards Firesuit under his clothes.
History: Once a vocal proponent of mutant/human relations, Aiden Thompson was an outspoken journalist and champion of mutant rights. All that changed on "M-Day" when Aiden found himself stripped of his powers. Turning to heavy drinking to deal with his loss, Aiden eventually attempted suicide. After his recovery, Aiden attempted to resume his journalistic duties, only to be confronted by anti-mutant demonstrators outside his office after an article he wrote called for action against Rev. Striker's increasingly fanatical congregation. Security cameras recorded the mob knocking Aiden to the ground and proceeding to pummel him for three minutes before a sudden eruption blew the frenzied mob apart. A lone figure stumbled, dazed and confused, from the inferno. Temper had been born.
Personality: Aiden Thompson is a man ruled by his passions. As the only link to his mutant abilities, Aiden fuels these passions without shame or remorse, though he seems reluctant to indulge in truly perverse or mindlessly destructive behavior. Lust, rage, indignation, greed, and glee are all equally likely to emerge during a confrontation with Aiden. In casual company, Aiden seems more willing to let his emotions ebb. Aiden is unashamedly anti-social, despite constantly pursuing female companionship.
Evaluation: Extreme Threat. Temper should never be approached for any reason if hostilities are expected. Temper is both unafraid and unashamed of using his powers at the slightest provocation.
