So I'm down at Timothy's having a cup o' really good java with a client today, and Q107 is on (Toronto's "Classic Rock" station for those outside the G.T.A.).
All of a sudden, my auditory sense is transported back to '93, otherwise known as "The year Andy bought his last 80's - early 90's/Glam/Hair rock album".
The song pumping out of their $5 speakers is "Down Incognito" by Winger, and absence really DOES make the heart grow fonder, cuz I couldn't wait to get home and throw the cassette on. (Yup, I hung on to all my old cassettes)
Well my friends, it turns out there's a REASON I haven't listened to the rest of the album in 10 years: It honks some major monkey 'nards. Although I was young and somewhat foolish at the time, so I can kind of remember what I liked about it.
Down Incognito, however is staying on my mp3 playlist, cuz it's one of the VERY few 80's - early 90's/Glam/Hair rock tunes that I still dig.
Call it a guilty pleasure.
Care to share yours?

It was an anthem of mine in '93. :)
