[The transition to Luceti has been difficult over the past several months, given not only the experiments, but Vincent's personal projects back home. While there are still some things he can accomplish, and perhaps even new methods to look into, most are, at this point, beyond his reach. At the very least the efforts require patience, as any good chess player knows. It's left him with a fair bit of free time, both to observe, and do research on various subjects. Which is why he turns on the journal and poses a question to the community at large.]
Would anyone know where I could get a few rose clippings? I'd prefer black petals myself, but white will work as well. And red, of course. I've found a guide to growing the plants, and I'm hoping to make an attempt at it.
Provided my housemates don't mind, of course.
[Or even if they do; Break will probably protest on principle, after all. But it's been so long since he's been able to properly send his trademark flower to anyone. Besides, there's something intriguing about the notion of actually caring for an object long enough to give it life.]

He's hoping to make contact with the rumored spirits, which seem not entirely unlike the chains he's used to. Without access to his own, Vincent's felt at a disadvantage, as of late. Better to fix that as soon as possible.]
