Again, I dislike making tutorials because they're so time consuming, but since
ayesha_ashu ayesha_shuand
citiesmuted asked so nicely and totally flattered me while doing so, I figured it wouldn't take too long to try to recreate some colorings from
my last batch. I would upload a .psd, BUT apparently .psd's hate me and refuse to download properly for other's use. Fortunately, they're fairly easy tuts and if you do have any questions feel free to ask! I'm not a ~master by any means, but I'll do my best to help! ( : FYI, I'm using Adobe Photoshop 8.0. ; ]

01. Get your base ready. I got mine from the lovely cappers over at
homeofthenutty. ( :
02. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves

03. Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color

I set it to Color Burn and left the opacity at 100%.
04. I took
this texture, by ?, and set it to Soft Light with an opacity of 100%.
05. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Brightness/Contrast
Brightness: -10
Contrast: 10
06. Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color
#FFFFFF
I set it to Soft Light at 50%.
07. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Photo Filter
I chose 'Deep Yellow', set the Density to 45% and then set the opacity to 50%.
08. Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color
#F2C8AA
Set it to Soft Light at 25%.
09. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Brightness/Contrast

And voila! Done! Easy, no?
These were my first attempts at coloring Nikita screencaps so I'm sort of indifferent about them. Anywho, this is how I colored pretty much all of them with some slight tweaking here and there, of course.
