Suspicious? How come? Plenty of people around here are nice; if you just talk to them they give you all sorts of things! Potions and repels and that kind of stuff! Not suspicious at all! [Then again she and her friends pick up random oozes and monster fangs they find after battle so...]

People just usually aren't that generous. Unless there's something wrong with the gift. And it doesn't make any sense to just be here getting things like this is some kind of mythic quest.
