First and foremost this post has been interrupted by the fact that OMG OMG OMG They Might Be Giants are coming to Jacksonville, Tampa, AND ORLANDO!!!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I must go... and if you love me you'll get me
thisfor christmas!!!
Okay, back to the actual post. :)
Tonight is Seussical's last show. It's totally bittersweet. In one way I can't believe it's over. In another I'm so thankful it is so I can get on with my life (and plan for next year). ;)
Here's an article from the Flagler News Journal.
http://www.news-journalonline.com/NewsJournalOnline/News/Neighbors/NewsTribune/flaNT02STAGE112807.htm Aside from spelling my name wrong it's a pretty decent article. :) It originally ran on the front page of the paper on Wednesday accompanied with a huge picture. I need to start putting together a scrapbook for stuff like that!
It's going pretty well. It's better than normal high school stuff, yet not quite where I know it could be. No one else is the wiser though. Everyone has given raving reviews. I think I've solidified my place here and that makes me happy. The students are awesome, well, the ones who actually work are. ;) The administration is absolutely fantastic as well. It's so nice to be in a place that enjoys the arts.
What am I doing tomorrow you may ask? I'm sleeping. All freaking day. I need it so much right now. I'm the walking dead.
Here's some pics to give you a virtual feel o' Seussical. If you still want to come gimme a call and I'll get you directions. :)
