Does the abbreviation IDAHO ring a bell? No, I’m not talking about one of the states of America here. IDAHO is an abbreviation of
“International Day Against Homophobia”.
It is celebrated on May 17th because in 1990, on this date, homosexuality was removed from the International Classifications of Diseases by WHO (“The World Health Organisation”). About time, right?
Why I am bringing this event up? (Because it’s fast approaching, and I want to make something of it... )
