here is a long overdue b-dayish post
taka was good but pricey and dinner overall felt short
grabbed some checkers afterwards...those fries...it had been awhile
went to karan's surprise thing at divan
issues with people being late and not having enough seats and then having to spend 10 each
ordered the mascarpone tart but it was a chocolate torte---good but not what i was expecting
mona ordered an appletini tho it was kinda strong
went home, had dim sum with the fam--yay for egg tarts
then atcc dinner at eurasia--cute and it was nice
appetizer was a sampler: nothing great- fried shrimp with mayo, beef lettuce wrap, and salad with scallops?
entree was lamp chops, pretty good also liked my mom's sea bass with snow pea leaves
dessert was a tiramisu cake-yum
went to see lust, caution-- really enjoyed it
had to get up super early the next morning to coordinate the ewh team buzz project. 48 volunteers but it all worked out in the end
ran out to get last minute halloween stuff
dinner was not where i was planning on having it since i was making last minute reservations....ended up at eclipse di luna which worked out for the best in the end since it was casual and people didn't get carded...more fun when half the table is tipsy....i thought things were really funny
and then partied with roommates and manisha & crew at opera
