Birthdays and things
My birthday was pretty decent. I share my birthday with one of my cousins, and we did the family get-together bit Wednesday evening. I spent some time chatting with the family, ate some brownies, got some cards and a bit of cash, which was nice considering the fact that I need clothing badly. On Thursday, I got a little more cash from my parents, and Man o' War: A Legend Like Lightning from Josiah, along with a cute little horse bookmark. That evening, my parents took my brother, Josiah, and me out to dinner, and after that my brother, Josiah, and I went to a bar and had a few drinks. It was a good night overall.
Josiah went shopping with me Friday evening, and got to witness first hand just how much I hate it. I love getting new clothes but I hate shopping for them, mostly because I have a hard time finding anything that fits me. Small shirts are too big half the time, and size 0 pants/jeans rarely fit properly. They're either too big in the waist, or too short in the legs. Yay for being small and disproportional. After an entire evening of shopping, I ended up getting five shirts and five pair of underwear. The hunt for jeans will continue when I'm a little less annoyed with the whole ordeal.
And in other news, my computer is an ass. I was going to spend today working on upcoming fanlistings, but it's acting up again. It's not quite as bad as it was last time, though, so hopefully it will be a little easier to get it working properly this time.
