Um, well I ship Cordelia/Angel, which is like HUGE unpopular opinion in the Buffyverse. I also ship Wesley/Lilah and Buffy/Spike.

Oh, I think I'm in the minority cuz I don't ship Helen/Nikola. Every since someone pointed out that he read gay for them, that's all I see so I just can't with them. I will say, though, that AT and JY have really great chemistry and I enjoy all of their episodes. I'm not sure if shipping Kate/Henry is unpopular but I imagine it would be cuz I've seen Will/Kate shippers out there too.

Going back to Angel, I adored Cordelia Chase. She's a pretty hated character in that fandom. I was meh about Fred only because I thought her character had so much potential pre-season 5 what with her being in that hell dimension for like 5 years. I guess I just didn't like how she became the middle of this love tringle between Gunn and Wes. I am a fan of Illyria though, and Amy Acker is one of the best actresses out there! She is something fierce!!

I don't think many peopled like Alpha/Echo in Dollhouse, but I loved them and their insane-ness. I pretty much hated Paul in it, though I did like him with Mellie/November. I ship Adelle/Dominic in that fandom too, and Adelle is basically my queen. Oh, I ship Whiskey/Topher. That would've been amazing, though I'm pretty fine with Topher/Bennett.

Just reading this back, it's all mainly to do with ships. :/

But yeah, those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Idk if you know of the fandoms. I'm not active much in any of them. What about you? What are your unpopular opinions?

Oh and can I just say that I think they need to use Kate SO much more in Sanctuary? I would've LOVED it if it had been Kate and Helen stuck in that time dilation field thing in 'Carentan' rather than Will. I think the scenes between Kate and Ravi would've been gorgeous, and I would've loved to have seen how Ravi would've reacted to a much more patient Kate, because I think she's changed a bit since he's seen her. I want to say that's not so unpopular though.

Anyways, that's all I've got. LOL.

Oh, I just realized I didn't touch on Firefly. Maybe tomorrow, this is already quite long...

Oh you are few and far between. Most B/Aers I meet are opposed to C/A like no other. I'm glad you aren't like that. but yes, they did indeed frakked it up. I would say that I'm still mad at Joss for what he did, especially to Cordelia. Oh and I read this amazing fic a long time ago about how it was like for Cordy being stuck in her own body without any control and it just revived my hatred for Joss. That guy. Ugh. I have no words.

I did like that girl too, but I'm just so opposed to Will being with anyone at the moment and the fact that they keep doing it is so annoying that I automatically don't like it. I would've liked the girl more too if she hadn't been interested in Will at all because she was smart and had potential to be a really cool (possibly) one-shot character. Whatever. I've sort of resigned myself to not always getting what I want. At least I'm not alone in thinking that having Kate and Helen together would've been awesome.

Ugh, that season would've been so much better if nothing had happened with Cordelia and Connor. I don't even know why that happened because it was a total crap way of bringing Jasmine into the scene. Just total crap. Oh and can I just say that it pissed me off even more that they killed her because Charisma had signed on to do the 100th episode as long as they didn't kill her character and after she signed the contract they went and told her that that's exactly what they were going to do. Horrid! I do like the way she went out, and I also tend to believe that she didn't died, but that she transcended. That makes it only slightly better.

Yep, they totally did that. And it's not like fandom rumors or anything because there's a couple of vids on youtube, where someone asks her about it at one of the cons, and she basically tells the entire story of what happened. It's nuts!

Omg Angel/Cordy is way unpopular in BTVS fandom, but in ATS it's almost considered a sin worthy of death NOT to ship Angel/Cordy!!
IDK what it's like these days, maybe things have changed, but back when it was airing still Angel/Cordy was the major dominant ship.

Times have probably changed though and fandom changed with it. I haven't been involved in ATS fandom since it finished to be honest sooooo many years back.

WESLEY/LILAH IS SO HOT THOUGH. My otp for ATS is definitely Wes/Fred, but that isn't to say Wes can't have dirty wonderful sex with Lilah on the side. If things with Lilah had panned out differently, i'd probably be them over Wes/Fred. They were so perfect with each other.

And Buffy/Spike became wayyyy more popular than Buffy/Angel in the end. Probs because James Marsters is just that damn good?

KATE/HENRY IS BIG. Kate/Will is always there though, and people do seem to love Will/Any Girl Ever, so no matter what female character you have a chunk of fandom will want Will to hook up with them.
But Kate/Henry isn't a minority by any means.

LOVE ILLYRIA SO SO SO MUCH.

Have to admit, I was totally shipping Alpha/Echo. Echo was so dull to me until Alpha got involved. I love that Whiskey was the old Echo, then got slashed up by Alpha, and now Echo is the new Whiskey!

Basically, my hugely unpopular opinion is forever going to be LESS WILL. NO WILL/HELEN. That opinion in itself makes me unpopular enough for any fandom.

Oh! And do you watch Doctor Who?

Because back last season and then Ten's seasons, EVERYONE HATED RIVER SONG. Like she was beyond despised. And I loved her beyond all reason.
And NOW with the current Matt Smith season, everyone suddenly adores her and is acting like they were always fans, whereas back in Silence in the Library, fandom was up in arms calling her "presumptuous" because the Doctor isn't supposed to love anyone blah blah and how dare she and how dare Moff.

I always loved her.

BSG... I was in love with LIEUTENANT GAETA, and also with TORY. But supposedly everyone hates Tory. Rekha Sharma was my tv girlfriend.
And people apart from a hardcore tiny group of Alessandro fans hate Gaeta.

TORCHWOOD... hate Gwen with a fiery passion.

My family is medical (apart from me), and I pretty much idolised her when she was in ER! That was like my ONE non-scifi/fantasy show growing up!

I'm so in love with her, I can't even! lmao. It's pathetic, I know.
But River saves episodes for me so so often.

I just love how CAPABLE she is, how she is/was/will be with the Doctor fulltime and was pretty much created by Idris to be a longterm companion for him... but she has her own life, ya know? Like outside of being with the Doctor, she's had her own experiences, and has this amazing history to her.
And still maintains total faith in him to the end to catch her when she jumps off buildings.

It's all turned out so splendidly. WE'VE ALL BEEN MOFFUCKED HARD.

Woah, NOT shipping Angel/Cordy in the ATS fandom was like sin?? That doesn't really seem to be the case now. LOL. I joined the fandom when it was already a couple of years old though, so maybe things have changed. All I ever see is B/Aers and people who like, ship B/A on ATS because of that ONE episode in season one. Yeah, I can't get behind that sorry. Hugely unpopular opinion to ship A/C, but I tend to stick with my tiny little circle of friends and not go outside of that. People are so vicious toward Cordy, especially on tumblr. Some of the things I've read about her. Ugh. I can't even.

Ohh I approve of your like of Wesley/Lilah. :D People who usually ship Wes/Fred absolutely hate Lilah and Wes/Lilah. I'm glad. I will say that I was alright with Wes/Fred until Wes started to really creep me out with how much he loved her. Idk idk. I have weird feelings on Wes and Fred seperately so together it's just all a mess for me. LOL. But I do have a few friends who ship it, and there's no denying that Amy and Alexis have great chemistry! I think Amy has great chemistry with everyone. OHhh and I kind of loved Fred and Spike in S5. I kinda did. Uh huh. LOL.

I do know that Buffy/Spike are more popular now, but there's still so much hate for them. I mean the ship wars that go on beween B/Aers and B/S in tumblr are nuts. NUTS! They're all nutters. I think even though I like B/S, in the end I kind of ship Buffy with herself. Girlfriend just needed to be alone sometimes, you know?

I can't even deal with this comment because ARE YOU ME?? Alan Tudyk is SOOOO FLAWLESS. His reveal scene, reveal episode is the most perfect episode of tv ever. He stole me with that, and he made the show better really becaues Echo was dull until he came into it. Ugh, just everything in this comment! Can I just say though how FLAWLESS Whiskey is as well. And that season 2 opener. Ugh. So much love. I'm flailing right now, I'm sorry. Haha.

Ok ok, so in Firefly I always shipped Jayne/Kaylee. I've never met anyone who shipped them too. I always see Jayne/River shippers which is weird to me. And I wasn't much for Kaylee/Simon because he had those moments when he seriously treated her really badly. I just don't know if I believed his side in terms of feelings. I did like their sexy scene in 'Serenity' though. And of course I ship Mal/Inara but I don't think that's an unpopular opinion.

Ohh so I don't watch Doctor Who but I'm going to mainly because of River Song and Donna Noble. I saw some stuff on tumblr with River Song and Eleven and I just love it sfm! And Donna is flawless and Catherine Tate is like my UK queen next to Adele so I needs to be getting up on that. I want to stan Donna and River so hard. SO I haven't seen a full episode, but I do love River and Donna and Ten is wonderful, and I'm sure these opinions will be reinforced once I start watching the newer series which will hopefully be quite soon.

Oh man, I haven't seen BSG yet either! But I want to. It's more like a need cuz everyone says it's flawless so I will be getting on that too.

I don't watch Torchwood either. What is this! LOL. I have wayy too many fandoms too, but it seems I need to get in a couple more.

Ok, so one final question. Have you seen The X-Files and what is your opinion on the show? I have to ask because that's my number one fandom and show. I will be sad if you've never seen it, but I won't hold it against you. I just need to know.

You should also check out Torchwood. It's the spin-off of Doctor Who. Starz network in the US just picked up the new Torchwood miniseries infact and it's starting soon I think! It's even hitting America now. Crazy.

And yes, it is actual sacrilege that you haven't seen BSG.

To be honest, you're not even able to be counted as a legit Scifi Fan until you've seen BSG.

It's the single most flawless tv show ever created in the history of television. AND I'M NOT JUST SAYING THAT.

Just... everything. The acting, the writing, the direction, the MUSIC, the everything, the plot, the crazy parallels to modern-day world politics... omg it's too much love to handle.

AND YES I'VE SEEN X FILES. Not watched it for ages though as it's never much on telly anymore here, apart from digital channels have re-runs sometimes but I watch most of my tv on my laptop.
I do like it!! I love the dynamic between Dana and Fox and how it NEVER feels forced to me, and never feels like "oh male lead, female lead, let's chuck in romantic sexual tension all the time" like every single show does nowadays.
It's just this great slow burn.

Plus the stories are scary as shit. OR THEY WERE WHEN I WATCHED IT AND WAS LIKE 13, HA.

Alright, you are officially cool in my book. LOL it doesn't take much. :P But, agreed. Everything after XF is always trying to force the male and female co-leads to get it on and it'll never happen or ever be as flawless as it was with XF. CC never even intended them to be together, so if anything shows should be doing that. LOL.
Oh and can I just say that some of the episodes still scare the crap out of me. I ain't gonna lie. When XF is good, it's damn good.

I love that Jayne really looks up to Kaylee... or at least that's how I always thought of it. She was like a smarter cooler little sister for him, who he pretty much adored.
It's crazy to say ANYONE is less mature than Jayne, but Kaylee was probably the most innocent and immature character on the show.
Not in a bad way... she'd just been sheltered growing up and that was her personality.

But instead of condascending to her and treating her like a stupid little backwater dirt planet girl LIKE SIMON DID, Jayne had some respect about him.

OMG. Ok, so Lizzy/Romano was kind of like my guilty ship on that show, that I never told anyone about it. Damn, did I love them and their interactions. It was so cruel of him to be crushed by the helicopter. Just so wrong. :( I felt really bad for him.

Ohhh Scorpy/Sikozu is a good ship to be obsessed about. They were so...idk, naughty! I did heart that about them. And Sikozu's hair was so freaking epic in PKW. One day, I shall have hair like that.
Agreed about Claudia Black. She needs to be on tv more also. Too talented, and her voice is far too sexy too.
