Overseas Coupon Program

So I saw this article on MSN http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23571516/?GT1=43001

about elderly ladies who donate coupons to military families at U.S. Military bases overseas.

Which made me interested in the program, so I did some more Google research and found another article:

and with some more research I found out how to particiapate in the Overseas Coupon Program

http://www.ocpnet.org/

It can be done individually or with a group. Coupons can be a few months past there expiration. There is no minimum to send. Send only manufacturer’s coupons as the coupons will be used at commisaries and PX/BX stores. The coupons need cut out and sorted into Food and Non Food. You can "adopt" a base to send to all the time but it is not required. Mailing to a military base is the same cost as mailing within the U.S. All of the rules are detailed on the above website.
