That would seem probable - though if so, the wolves may not be counting on the fact that even if you were suspicious the first day, you may appear less so having made it through a voting round.
I would like to note, of course, that Mustang and Kenobi were both no-shows for voting. Is that where you are basing the pairing in your list from, or from their interactions in Day 1? If the latter, then the former should also be taken into account.
Il Palazzo's death is an interesting one. Perhaps it means that the wolves felt he would be useless as a scapegoat, or perhaps they found some other reason it was preferrable to keep a less-suspicious sheep (Sha-san) alive.

It was their interactions in day one that I took into account. I really can't hold it against them for their no-show in the voting, especially since I slept through it myself.

But as one up to vote, you didn't particularly need to be present - unless, of course, you were a wolf and would need to consume a sheep afterwards - as you could not vote: in addition, Kenobi, at least, was around as soon as the Day 2 post went up.

I wouldn't have to be around even if I were a wolf; that's what a majority vote is for. And even had none of the other wolves been present, it would be a fitting strategy to have the sheep eliminated at random.

Of course, it does not necessarily mean anything - Kenobi is new to this, and may perhaps simply have felt that the vite did not need his assistance. But it should not also be lightly discounted, I think.

I'd figured as much.
I have to wonder if the lack of any clues as yet is simply the result of the recieving sheep still being asleep, or if Il Palazzo's 'death' disinclined them from sharing publically. If the latter, the wolves may find that their strategy costs them.
Re: [Hi Day two!]n_is_forFebruary 28 2006, 19:19:13 UTC
Mm, naturally, but the sheep do have one confirmed member to consult now - not that I would feel secure leaving our fate up to Sha-san, as no offense to him, but... well, offense to him, I suppose. I do not imagine that he is particularly skilled in this arena.
Of course, anyone who approaches Sha-san with a clue could be a wolf, attempting to influence him with a false one. It's a tricky situation.
And based on my observations, if I were to take everything I've heard and seen at face value, we get the following impossible pairs:
- Near/Ying
- Lupin/Ying
- Hakkai/Near
- Hakkai/Roy
- Hakkai/Ying
- Roy/Obi-Wan
And also, at this point, seeing that Il Palazzo was a sheep means that Sha Gojyo is most likely a sheep, as well.
I was going to attempt a list again, but I don't want to do that until the playing field narrows a bit more.

I don't want to approach him until I'm cleared; doing so otherwise would make me quite suspicious.
