So, provide a character or a pairing or two characters or a theme or anything, really, and I'll try to drabble it.

KEY WORD IS TRY.

Standard disclaimer:If I do not interact with a character much, I probably won't know how to write them. I'll still give it a try, but the drabble will probably be horribly flat and generic, or overly out of ( Read more... )

Those damn glasses were back.

Try as she might, Ying couldn't help but suppress a glare over the teacup she was currently sipping from.

Ishida Uryuu was completely oblivious to her glare, however, as he adjusted the rose-tinted glasses with one hand and brought a teacup to his lips with the other. "It's..." a pause as he sipped. "It's a beautiful day, isn't it, hahaue?"

Glare. Sip.

"Take the glasses off, Yu Long."

"Eh?" He tilted his head to the side as he set his teacup down. "Why? I've got a wonderful view as it is, and I wouldn't want to miss it."

"The chippendale zombies are back," Ying argued.

"They just want to give Heine a hug."

Oh, they were giving Heine a hug, all right, in the sense that shooting someone in the face was a friendly poke. "That does it. I'm going to go fight them."

"But you haven't finished your tea, hahaue."

"You say that every time I get up to fight!" Ying was shouting now, slamming her palms on the table with force enough that the resulting noise sounded much like a gunshot. "Every time a camper is swarmed, you tell me to sit down and drink my tea! And then you KEEP REFILLING MY CUP! When will you let me GO?! When the entire camp is slaughtered?!"

Within seconds, Ying found herself on the business end of a glowing arrow, ready to fly.

"Finish your tea, hahaue."

She slumped back into her chair, picking the teacup up once more. And when she felt it fall from her fingers, she knew something was horribly wrong.

Her vision blurred and grew dim, and as Ying watched the table rush at her at an alarming speed, she realized that Ishida's glasses weren't the problem at all; not by a long shot.

Damn camp.
