Comments are love. :)

ONE.

The day Adrian kissed him and made love to him for the first time. It was way past midnight, the closing credits of an old movie were scrolling slowly on the screen and Adrian leaned closer and kissed him. Just like that, with a hand on his thigh and the other caressing his neck softly. And then they were naked, and Adrian was on top of him. Inside him. It was perfect, so natural and inevitable, like they were destined to be together. Or maybe that’s just what they told themselves afterward to justify something which didn’t need an excuse.

TWO.

The day Adrian and him went sailing and were caught in a storm. They’d just reached a deserted little beach and anchored the boat when it started raining. Cuddled under a warm blanked in the cabin, they listened to the incessant rain and the howling of the wind. They talked about life, religion, and the future, because there’s something about the rain which makes us think deeper thoughts. Milo remembers Adrian’s hands rubbing his back gently and delicate kisses on his naked shoulders. He found himself saying “I love you,” and realizing that he actually meant it like never before.

THREE.

The day he was in bed with the flu and Adrian took care of him. He showed up around 10AM, using his key to get inside the house without bothering Milo. When Milo woke up, Adrian was running a hand through his hair, keeping the long bangs away from his eyes, feeling his forehead every once in a while. “Good morning, Mi,” he said softly, “I thought I’d make sure you stay in bed.” He did, in fact, make sure of that, and for once Milo just let him being over-protective without pointing out that he was not a child.

FOUR.

The day he bet he’d run the Las Vegas marathon faster than Adrian and was proven wrong. It was just a matter of minutes, very few minutes, but Adrian didn’t care and insisted he’d won and deserved a prize. Milo tried to no avail to say he’d let him win so not to crush his fragile ego. The little bastard wouldn’t stop gloating, so Milo went on with Plan B, also known as Pretending to Be Hurt and Fail to Hiding it. Oh, that worked. And it didn’t even matter that Adrian knew what Milo was doing and played along.
