I love this. I needed my Lisbon/Jane love to come back properly, and this has just done it.

My favourite, perhaps oddly, is ii. I can so clearly picture that scene in her living room, and the way you describe the quiet sadness and intimacy is beautiful.

The last part is so gorgeous. I adore the final line. And the attic scene from iv? I love that so much, too.
