Simply lovely. I think it is a very bare bones interpretation of Lisbon as a rookie facing McTeer, but it works SO well. I think you are very detail oriented in a very concise way, managing to mention only what needs to be mentioned and nothing more. It works to your advantage here, because it reflects what the characters are really feeling, especially Lisbon with how frustrated she is over being unable to arrest the asshole.

I loved the full-circle ending, it was powerful and yet subtle. I thought it fit well with both the title and the song choice. I loved both of them too. In short, you are awesome and this is just another example of just how much :).

Thank you, dear. You know I didn't want to get bogged down by the specifics, so I'm glad you think this works.

I love that I knew the title and song choice over a month ago and just now managed to finish this off. Ooops.

Your writing never seems to dissapoint me; you have a very pleasant writing style and definitely know how to build up a story to an impressive end - I loved the full-cycle style of this story.

Oh wow. That was an excellent piece to that background, although I do so love that episode the most out of all of Season 2. :)

I really adore how you've explored every facet of Lisbon's character, her guilt and pride and straightforwardness. You really have a knack for characterizing her.
