Well, based on your rambly description I was expecting something different. Even with the change of plans.

Mel thinks show should let us be on some sort of advisory panel. However, we've been told we're probably not the kind of people whose opinion they want/care about. Basically we're too smart and too sarcastic.

Still, I feel you could improve show significantly. Just by periodically going up to BH and yelling: "LISBON IS AWESOME! WHY DO YOU NOT REALIZE THIS?"

Yeah, I did something really crazy and just let the fic go where it wanted to go and to hell with my plans. Very unlike me.

Mel is (unfortunately) probably right. Also, we care about people other than Jane.

I want to write BH an essay about how he needs to be careful. Ugh. Show. I am dreading tomorrow.

I am oddly optimistic about show tomorrow. Although that may be a defence mechanism. And partly due to the fact that I can't take another season like S2. So CLEARLY what is going to happen is Lisbon is going to rush in and save the day. And then punch Jane in the face. While Hightower falls down a well.

Or you know, she could just not compromise her principles for Jane and be reasonably competent. EITHER ONE IS FINE. (Though okay, option A would be far more awesome, but its awesomeness is sadly counteracted by it's sheer unlikelihood).

And yeah, Mel heard this from a friend of hers who works in television. So I suspect the information is accurate. We are no one's target audience.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, we *are* technically in the age group they care about. Though we are female, which I believe they tend to consider less important.

And BITE YOUR TONGUE. It's not going to be WORSE than last week. IT CAN'T BE! (Can it?) Is that even POSSIBLE? I suppose if Hightower and Jane form a vigilante alliance it COULD BE. But surely even SHOW isn't that DUMB. At the very least they must know how the audience feels about HTW...

PLEASE GO SEE THE SPOILERS FOR 3x17. I NEED TO DISCUSS THIS WITH SOMEONE WHO CAN MAYBE KEEP ME FROM GOING OFF THE DEEP END?
