Well screw that, he thought, gloomily. He wasn't about to go and lie in wait by the supply train by himself. His orders were to meet up with Guy, and do what Guy said. Plus, after what had happened after the ball, all that stuff with Robin and Guy...he'd bloody chew off his own leg before he went through all that again of his own accord. No, best thing he could do was keep riding nice and far away from the supply train until he happened to bump into Guy. Better off doing nothing at all than doing the wrong thing, after all. And if he didn't...well, that wasn't the end of the world. Better to just leave it up to the guards, like normal. Safer for everyone that way. Except the guards. And screw those bastards.
