Here's something I don't understand: when did gay people get exclusive use of the rainbow? I mean, come on. It's a natural phenomenon. It's a prism of light reflected through moisture in the air. Children draw them all the time. ROY G BIV. Anybody who wants to try out lots of colors, generally draws a rainbow. Leprechauns chase them. They are pretty.

So why do they suddenly symbolize gay pride? Why can't I enjoy rainbows anymore without people making assumptions about my sexuality?

I remember pink triangles used to be "the symbol". That was fine. It was something fairly unique, something not already in use. It conveyed its message without any confusion.

But these rainbows...I just don't get it. I don't think it's right. Take back the rainbow; rainbows are for everybody!
