everybody attention please, i am gossip man
because i'm brilliant and awesome i didn't remember i'm supposed to tutor S and her brother tomorrow. this means that i a) failed to contact her re: tutoring until 11 pm and b) agreed to go with KH and AA to watch Ponyo. the best part though, is i realized that tutoring S = handing back the homework i assigned a /month/ ago = grading homework = locating homework. and, of course, after nearly 1/2 a month of not tutoring her i totally forgot where i placed it. why am i like this auuughh. T T
the good thing is that i DID find it eventually - pressed between the pages of the notebook i used to explain stuff, exactly where you might expect it to be! thank god for the few moments in life where i actually make semi-sensible decisions.
after almost a week of abuse and suffering, my nail polish is finally started to chip away. and i know this is going to sound incredibly shallow and airheaded, but i'm actually a little sad whenever another bit falls off. this set especially, first because it's my favorite of the ones i've done so far, and second because i think it'll be the last set i do in a while (i highly doubt i will have enough time to do intricate designs when i get back to school). i've peeled off polish on my middle left finger and right ring finger and the loss of weight feel really, really odd. also kind of scary because, dude, is my nail polish really that heavy? i mean, i put on a lot of layers - about 2-3 layers of base color, then design, then 1-2 layers of top coat (3 if i use stickers, because otherwise they fall off. T T)
