There's a big world out there. And the online world might be even bigger. Which gives you more than one way to make money. Sometimes you have to work for a pay check, sometimes you need to do a survey, and sometimes you just need to do whatever it is you already do.
4. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing has a huge market, and this is an amazing way to make money. Basically, you are promoting someone else's products or services and you don't need to carry in inventory. You may not know it, but a lot of services that average internet users sign up for have some sort of affiliate or promotional selling program. Perhaps you can become a reseller or sell a product based on referrals. Or perhaps you prefer to stick with affiliate marketing and want to sell a service/product as the third party and sock up the pretty good commissions that come with it.
3. Advertising
Do you have a website that gets fairly good traffic? Or maybe you've built a strong email list for your newsletter? If you have access to people, you have an opportunity to display ads to them. Google Adwords is a great place to start for high traffic websites. And if you've done the heavy lifting and created a large list of emails, you can accept money by advertising to your network for someone else. These are called solo ads. The concept is someone approaches you, says “I'll pay you $100 to email blast your network with my ad”, and you do. They do not get access to your email list, your subscribers will open the email because they know it's from you, and your customer gets the advertising they wanted. 2. Surveys
If you find that you have a lot of time on your hands, surveys might be for you. You can get paid a small amount for every survey you do. What you make depends on the survey though. Some places you might make $0.10 per survey, others you might make $5.00 or higher. They don't usually take very long either. So while you're Facebooking and finding yourself bored of looking at the same news all day, think about the money you could make. Oh, and you're also helping a company create a better product. It's best if you tell the truth in the surveys because it makes them more interesting and you really have nothing to lose anyways.
