Mothers Day
Happy Mothers Day to all Mothers!
My Daughter gave me a beautiful musical card with a gift certificate in it to our beauty shop for a manicure & pedicure. I have never had a pedicure & only once had a manicure (when her & a friend talked me in to it when I took them to the mall). I am really looking forward to it. I just love her so much. She is 18 & she is my pride & joy!!!!!
Yesterday my Daugter graduated High-School. We had a cook-out for her. We had 22 family & friends. It turned out real good. She got lots of gifts plus $1,288.00 in cash. She will be going off to college in New York in August. That is going to be a hard thing for me as a Mom because she will be a little over 10 hrs. away. We have been so busy lately with her exams & getting ready for graduation that I have not been able to think. This morning I got up early & spending some quite time by myself. I guess all at once it really hit me. She is going to be going away in 3 months. I broke down & started shedding some tears.
I know that God will look after her. I couldn't ask for anything more. She is a good young lady & has a good head on her shoulders to make the right decisions. Everyone please keep her in your prayers. That is going to be a whole different world & you meet a wide variety of people there & all the things of the world. My prayer is for her to be happy & God to keep her safe.
