On the Internet, your aunt knows you're a wolf

Oh dear. I accidentally sent my aunt an e-mail from footpad@gmail instead of my usual e-mail address.

Chances are, she's deleted it as spam without reading it; the subject line wasn't especially distinctive. But she might get curious, and she might Google it (she's not especially tech-literate, but she's pretty smart), and she might notice that I now account for two of Google's top-ten hits for 'footpad'-including my LJ profile page. (Tsk, Google-didn't you read my robots.txt file?)

While many of my friends are perfectly public about their Internet lives, I'm not: I've always thought my family would find it a bit, well, weird. But maybe that's about to end flamboyantly as my aunt finds out just what a marvellous bunch of freaks I hang out with.

Anybody want to say hello to my aunt? :)

family, furry, lol
