I've been trying, with little success, to find a property management company in Central Kansas that maintains farm property for absentee lessors. Now that
my mother has moved and
my uncle has passed away, there's really no one around to check on my mother's farmland. I'm surprised by how little I'm finding on the Internet, but I have a feeling that even though the most rural areas of Kansas have ISPs nowadays, a lot of business is still solicited the old-fashioned way: through (printed) yellow pages, word of mouth, and ads in the local newspapers. Most of the property management companies that have any kind of online presence are in the Kansas City area--too far (and probably too expensive) for my mother's farmland. I suppose I could e-mail area libraries and ask if they have anything in their phone books that I'm not finding online.
Changing the subject, below are the last 20 books I finished reading.
