The
Poetry Center and
Africana Studies brought
Nikki Giovanni to campus tonight, so I caught an hour of her appearance in a very crowded auditorium. She was entertaining, but she wasn't reading as much poetry as I hoped she would.
I returned home and watched a video about Venezuela that
Susan gave to me on Monday.
minervarain was here, so she and I watched it together and ate Indonesian ginger candy, courtesy of my mother.
Normally I would never say anything bad about falafel, but yesterday when I was cleaning my cat's litter box, I kept thinking the clumps of litter looked like falafel balls. Of course, they were grayer than falafel should be, but their texture looked similar.
