locakitty gave me all of her Eddie Izzard DVDs to watch, since I told her two nights ago that I still haven't watched any of his stand-up.

You know, when I was still in high school, I had this naive idea that the mission of most universities (with the exception of religious universites and those online "universities" whose accreditation includes moving testimonials from former "students") was to provide the best education possible to students. Then I left my little cave on the prairie and realized the mission of any university was to bend to political and business interests, regurgitate old paradigms, and dry-fuck students for tuition money.

I'm not sure why Jewish people insist on making certain their history seems spotless. No culture is flawless. Hell, Koreans have done some things that I'm not very proud of--patriarchy and the Kia Spectra are just two of them.
