Our band concerts- noone comes and it makes me reallly mad. were the fucking wind ensemble. the best band in the district. in many disticts in some cases. and even if we dont think were that good, if you just listen youre like wow, were pretty damn good. it just gets me really mad when ppl will stay for the shitty syhmphonic band and then leave and not listen to WE.especially kids from syphonic band(and i can name a bunch of ppl) dont people want to find some redemption and know that not alll the bands are that bad. even if i hated concerts i would at least stay 1/2 an hour longer to listen to another band. whats the point in getting ready and going all the way to school to sit there for only 25 minutes. that is way too much effort in my opinion. if youre gonna do somethign do it to the full extent. and one of the worst feeligns for me at a concert is when we stand up after nailing a song and you look out into the audience and not even the middle section of the small auditorium is half-full. we work our asses off all year to have two three concerts a year and ppl cant sit there and support us for an hour. bullshit. and yeah some times the concerts may drag on, we get bored too, but the audience is in comfy seats, is not dying of heat, and if they really hate it they can sleep while we have to sit up on the hot stage in hard chairs that have the butt crack in the weirdest spot i might add and we are actually doing somethign they we could screw up on and dont. bc were awesome. but in the end dont you think its worth it. if anything i would think going to a concert is at least a stress reliever for parents and kids get to see their friends up on stage. ppl go to all the sports games and dont give it a second thought. despite the fact that they're loud, cold, rainy, boring, and involves watching athletes run back and forth for an hour. but despite that i went to my frineds girls lacrosse game in the cold rain and sat there the whole time and does she ever come to a single one of my concerts? no "bc theyre boring" WATCHIGN THE SAINTS LOSE 14-3 EVERYGAME IS FUCKING BORING!!! sorry if music is boring ill try to change what i love to do so you can have more fun watching me....and that whats im talking about. noone cares and its gay. i know this entry is crazy and all over the place but you get the idea. i have so many other thoughts but ill save them for the comments lol. yup. happy reading. and come to the god damn chicken BBQ!
