A penalty drabble for Angua, as punishment for failing to notice that the chap with his shorts off was Sampdoria’s goalie and not Pazzini. *Grumbles about people who think I’ve got X-ray vision or something*
- but skin needs company too, needs sweat to commingle and dilute the loneliness, skin-friends to soothe its pain; and skin laughs at the person inside it who postures, “I am not interested in this,” because it is already not a question of whether to visit but of which night and what story to tell, and which junction to turn off at (stick to the A12 or cut the corner?)...
Skin can’t help it. It’s not unreasonable. Hands want hips to hold, thighs want waist, lips want the throat and the Adam’s apple and oh.
Skin says, “Warmth.”
