He was grateful for the loud music. It created an impenetrable wall of noise; one that effectively drowned out the words around him. Sadly, it couldn't distract his thoughts or the painful pierce through his heart every time he saw them together.
Too close on the dance floor; Francesco's hand resting at the small of Ale's back in a perfect display of trust. Other people shielded them from view, but the look in those laughing brown eyes was obvious even from this angle. Ale looked perfectly comfortable.
Pavel hated to admit how much it hurt.
He looked down, suddenly ashamed.
