Two drabbles, Juventus
Title: Longing

Zdeněk leans hardly against the wall and lowers his voice, trying to keep his part of the phone conversation as quiet as possible. Still, he has a hard time keeping the emotion from showing too clearly in his voice. With a small, slightly faked laugh, he says that everything is fine.
He doesn't want to sound too lost, and doesn't want Petr to worry about him.
However, he should have known that it would be useless to try hiding anything. Still, Petr doesn't tell him to stop telling lies.
"When is the next free weekend?" he asks instead.

He had not realized the full extent of Ale's promise until then. Perhaps because all the words had not made sense, or perhaps because the thought was too weird, too scary to grasp right away. Only now, when he hears the lock clicking shut and feels his captain pulling him in for a small gentle kiss, it finally dawns on him.
They're all there. Or perhaps not, but at least he's not alone just with Ale.
There is a soft touch on his cheek.
"Why so scared? You have to learn, you know."
He would have recognized that voice anywhere.
