Two drabbles for Workington: Hotbed of Sin, Cry-o-therapy.

Once night had fallen, Christian and Bogdan set out to explore their new environment. Three hours later they had gaped at the prostitutes, got lost six times and scored completely by accident by buying two packets of fags that turned out to be Skunky Specials.
Pissed and safely ensconced in a pub, Christi suddenly decided to slobber all over Bogdan’s face. Both of them started guiltily and waited for Gigi Becali to materialise and exile them to Siberia. He did not. No-one cared.
Christi turned back to Bogdan and said, with a silly grin, “I think I like it here.”

“Oh, god, man, this is just the end of me,” Mutu wept into Lobont’s shoulder. (Chivu lay patiently at the bottom of the pile.)
“It’s not,” Lobont said gently, wiping at his tears with the bedclothes. “It’s a new season, new start. You’ve got friends.”
“I don’t know what I’d do without you,” Mutu snuffled pathetically. “I’m such a deadbeat - a waster - ”
“Sssshh. Come here.”
“Oh, Bogdan...”
“Ssssssshhh.”
“Oh. Oh yes... AAAAARRRRRGH!” screamed Mutu, catapulting out of the bed. There was a startled silence.
Chivu’s voice came sheepishly out of the darkness: “Sorry. He rolled onto my ice pack.”
