“Cheerful tonight, isn’t he?” Lobont noted, unnerved, as the noise of Satan’s carousings floated in through the open window, accompanied by mad moths. It was 4am.
“He’s rat-arsed,” Chivu observed sagaciously, carefully arranging the duvet so that he didn’t have any more of it than Bogdan.
“What’s that mean?”
“It means drunk. I don’t know why. I asked English people and they didn’t know either.”
“I suppose he’s been feeding from Rat.”
“...or rats.”
“FUCK OFF.”
“Well...”
Lobont, deciding he didn’t want to hear any more of this, pinned his other half to the bed and proceeded to get Chivu-arsed.
