“Come on, make an effort!” Santiago pulled Julio out of bed.
“But I’m too tired!” Julio groaned, “I don’t need to train for sitting on the bench!” he fell back into bed.
“No excuses!” Santi pulled him up. “The time will come when you’ll be first-choice striker, I know it!” he smiled encouragingly, “But it won’t happen if you don’t train!”
“Fine, I’ll get up. Are you happy now?”
“You’ll see the benefits in the future. Just wait.”
“Let’s go, Julio; the lineup is waiting,” Javi called.
“You were right, Santi,” Julio sighed. “Thanks for not listening to my excuses.”
