One Drabble, Team of Choice: Germany

“Oowwwww!”
Jens is lying prone on the bed, groaning.
“My ass hurts!”
“I’m sorry,” Freddie says in a soothing voice. “Would you like a massage maybe?”
“I’ll never do that again!”
Freddie sits and caresses Jens’ back. “It’s always like that the first time,”
he consoles him, “It’s going to be better when you try again.”
“Never!”
“You’ll love it by the end of the week. Promise.”
“Liar!”

When Freddie had suggested a ranch holiday, Jens had happily agreed.
Then again, he’d been expecting a little less teething problems and a little
more Brokeback Mountain romanticism.

*"Das Glück der Erde liegt auf dem Rücken der Pferde": A German proverb meaning "The greatest happiness in the world / Is on the back of a horse." The short form "Das Glück der Erde" could be a movie title maybe, and everyone would understand it's a movie about horses. Since Jens is German, I hope it's okay I use the German title.
