“...no, I will not be moving to Barcelona. What did that fellow say?” Bobby added distractedly to his interpreter, and gave a horrible cough.
“Have you taken your medication?” the interpreter said suspiciously, giving him a penetrating stare as if expecting him to fall apart on the spot.
“Yes! Stop nagging!” Bobby rasped testily. “I’m not completely ready for the knacker’s yard... (Look it, I admit.) What did that chap say?”
José, reassured, said serenely: “‘Congratulations’, mister.”
