It's still all sign language and gestures, and even though Daniel and Willy are incredibly patient with him and help where they can, they've probably heard his "Ça veut dire quoi, ça?" often enough already, judging from the stoic looks on their faces whenever he turns to them.
Fortunately, he's found a remedy for his worst challenge so far, his younger teammates' teasing. He doesn't quite know what "schwul" means (and Daniel refuses a translation), but whenever he throws the word at Podolski (or Schweinsteiger - or both of them), there's faint blushing, a shove, and (most importantly) immediate silence.
