Pleading innocence didn't help; Fernando threw his arms up in the air, Sergio hid his face in his hands, and they both felt the 'May God strike you two morons dead' glare Iker gave them. The ball was unstoppable, and they hardly dared to look at their goalkeeper for quite a while.
