I have to ask, who do you control? Do you play one character at a time?

1. Awww, look at the dog!
2. Who's that person in the yellow?
3. Whoa. Gila is becoming scary D: (does he do these things by himself, or are you controlling him?)

When you enter a lot (i.e. someone's house), you can control all the people who live in that lot (except the dogs and cats - they basically do whatever they want ;)). So, if you're in Fernando and Sergio's house you can control Fernando and Sergio, but Odie and the guests will do what they like.

You program each Sim's personality in advance: for example, you give them points for Niceness/Grouchiness and Shy/Outgoing. I can't figure out what it was I did to Gila to make him act like this, though D:

1. It's a stray, it's not Fabi's XD He has got his own dog now, though.
2. That's just the paper boy, a character who comes with the game.

Wow, that's so much more realistic than the original Sims ;p (Their personality, and turn-ons and stuff :) )

1. ROFFL a stray dog came in??? (LOL I remember dogs used to come in to my house to when I played ;) )
2. LOLL he's thinking of someone too?

1. Yeah, they come in if you invite them :D
2. Yes, he's saying hello to Mamen. Paperboys and -girls still talk and think and get attacked by savage dogs and things, they're just not important and you can't customise them much.

If you've got a badly trained dog it will snarl at the paper-person and frighten them and chase them around the garden DX One of Petr Cech's dogs did that a million times and I had to get Petr or his wife to leap out of the shower, or whatever they were doing, and come and shout at the dog so the poor papergirl could escape.

Ssshhhh - of course she doesn't! If she did, he'd be sleeping in the garden! (But she would take him back eventually - Sims are quite forgiving people.)

Did they buy the dogs from town, or did you create them along with the Sims?

(and I don't know if it will happen here, but I've heard that women will actually get pregnant in Sims 2. In the previous Sims, a baby would just appear after a man and a woman had kissed very passionately. Interesting.)

I created dogs when I already knew that the footballer had a dog. Like, I knew Sergio had Odie, and Petr has photos of his dog at his website. Everyone else with a dog has just bought one randomly in the pet shop. <3

They do indeed! :D Fortunately, the birth scene is abstract rather than, erm, anatomically correct D:

So you've seen it? (Not in the footballers' stories, though, right?)

Yes, actually! :D I let one lot reproduce the old-fashioned way, and will post their story soonish. Your little Plumb-Bob (the green diamond thing) does a lot of agonised straining and then produces a baby-bob to the sound of sentimental harp music. It's almost funny. (Would swap real-life pregnancy for that any day, though.)
