Wow. The excitement in the school today is overwhelming. Yep. Today is the day. Championships.

The weather definitely co-operated. It's -6C and there anke-deep snow everywhere. The wind is 45km/h. Perfect football weather. Perfect play-off weather.

We had the band perform for the occasion this morning, and it will again in the afternoon. Tickets (of which over 400 have been sold already) and pop-corn are being sold everywhere, everybody's walking around dressed in scarlet and grey (our school colors) either waving banners or pom-poms. Definitely makes one's day. ;)

I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. It's quite something. I see the guys walk around the school and I know they're all nervous and excited as well - some more than others. If we win today, I will be crying like a little girl, and I don't think I won't be alone. :) Somehow, though, I have no doubt in my mind that we're winning. I don't want to get cocky or over-confident, but I think I can afford to on some level with a team like we have.

Yesterday was the last practice and it was depressing. I wanted to cry, to tell you the truth.

There's only one thing left to say - regardless of all the dirty looks (which were countless) that I've given the guys this season for their comments and actions, I loved every single second of it and not ONCE did I waver in that feeling. I love this team.
