Write 20 random facts about yourself.
This is basically my update which is long overdue now, for the last couple of weeks. This is a funner way to do it, and I can organize my thoughts somewhat.
1) I have developed a strange crush on some people. And when I say STRANGE, I mean very unexpected, uncalled for, and unwanted. There are 3 guys that have caught my eye very... suddenly...
2) I watched an Adoption show today about Animal Shelters rescues and stuff, and actually cried when someone adopted a scruffy little cute dog which did not seem to have any chance at all.
3. I am a huge fan of slash - mainly HP related one just because I haven't read any other too much. My fave pairings are H/D, RL/SB, SS/RL, SS/SB, SS/H, SS/LM... Yes, I am into that stuff.
4. I have known the guy for 2 years and a bit now. Always was, you know, 'cool', 'whatever' type of dude. Never said hi unless greeted. I liked him for a short while - A LOT - and he didn't think that cool either. He's close to me, but NOW that I have moved on, he... *sigh* Guys suck.
5. Football started and I'm a week into it now, and I have a love/hate relationship with the sport. And both feelings are pretty strong.
6. I love being single. Not long ago I woke up with startlning epiphay that I don't like to be tied down, and the worse thing for me right now would be to BE tied down. Guys are at the very bottom of my list - I would not agree to a relationship even if I LOVED the person. So, naturally, the guys have been popping out of nowhere. Because when I don't need them, there's tons. -_-0
7. I had a scout come up to me from the Wilfried Laurier University on Thursday's game and tell me he wants me to come and maybe partake in some of their football team's practices, come to games, pop into the changeroom and hear the pre-game talk and prayer... He's really excited, apparently, about what I'm doing, and is ready to do some thing for me. It's nice, but now especially since I found out just now that that university has a GREAT Journalism programme.
8. The subjects I have this semester are - Law, English, Vocals and Societies. The classes I put down for next semester are - Writer's Craft, Literature Studies, Math and Families.
9. I, luckily, have great teachers for above mentioned classes.
Mr Kennins (Vocals) - Really cool guy. Extremelly funny, too, which is why I love him so much. I've been his ... friend (?) for two years now, and this semester is the first time I have him as a teacher. He amuses me, though we don't sing in his class as much as we did in Mr Weismiller's, we do theory.
Ms Manios (Societies)- She's REALLY young, and she reminds me of those really squeaky girls that run around and use words: 'Like' about 10 times per sentence. She's really great, but just a bit girly and preppy, I should say. I try to not let that fact bother me too much.
Ms Rosenthal (Law) - She's evil in a completely great way. She has a great, sarcastic sense of humour, and she is actually a cousin of the guy who did the article on me in Toronto Star two years ago, apparently. She teaches Law - which is a pretty complicated subject - in a fun, clear way, and I'm really glad I took this course, though I wasn't originally planning to at all. Oh, and she will take your head off if you call her 'Miss'. Only 'Missis R'.
Ms Goodchild (English) - An unbelievably nice, sunny, happy person to teach my favorite subject. I don't think I can ask for anything more.
10. I'm reading 'Flowers in the Attich'. Wow. Hard book to get through, but deep, and it IS a classic. Basically about four children - a boy and a girl who are teens and two twins that are little, being locked up in the attich for years by a tyrant grandmother who barely feeds them and NEVER lets them go outside. Basically, eventually, after spending SO MUCH TIME only with each other, the older brother and sister fall in love. It's not written in a sick way or anything, but it is really sad, and just tears at your heart. That book had 3 sequels and a pre-requel that I am going to read as well.
11. I am now working on this Harry Potterv web-site as a writer. I sent in my application and got the position - pretty ecstatic about that. My first assignment which I am currently working on is three book reviews for the first three books.
12. EMANNUELA!!!! I can't find her telephone number and I miss this girl so much!!! Please call me if you read this!!!
13. I've been in a very creative mood lately, and I have thousand ideas for writing - short stories, novels, poems, fan-fic... You name it!!! Only I just CAN'T bring myself to put all those ideas to paper. It's horrible!
14. I sit with 3 girls and 1 guy in Societies. It's funny to see how two of the three girls (the third one has a b/f) flirt with him in turn. It's like a silent fight for him, and I don't think they even realize it. I get bored in that class, so I watch it with quite a lot of amusement.
15. I think I'm getting better in football. For the first time in two years I have finally lost all fear of hitting. So I am trying REALLY hard - earnestly - completely leaving everything out on that field, and I DO so hope that the coach can appreciate that.
16. The coach is really nice to me this year... It's different, but I'm less nervous to diappoint him at every second, so I do everything alright, since when I'm not under insane pressure, everything turns better.
17. Rain or shine, I am dragging Ben out to a bouffet this weekend. We haven't done that for too long, and it's disheartening.
18. Dickens is a good writer, but God, he's BORING. I tried - I REALLY did, but he just puts me to sleep!!!
19. I only read good literature - only the best. NEVER will you find me reading some sort of crap.
20. My puppy is fluffy.
