New music adventures afoot.
A few months ago I was introduced to the music of Michelle Branch while I was watching some friends play Karaoke Revolution. Yesterday I found out that she's apparently teamed up with another singer/songwriter named Jessica Hall to form a band called The Wreckers. The thing I find particularly interesting here is that Branch has a pop/rock background, yet she's collaborating to do country music. I don't follow the music scene much so I don't know how common that is--I think I've seen it go the opposite direction a few times--but I think it's pretty neat. I like the single I heard off their website, and I'm looking forward to checking out their debut album in May.
