And you guys have met the Lord? I'm sorry, but I fail to comprehend this. Hoskins is right--as Christians, you are supposed to be open to other peoples' beliefs. And not condemn me for what I choose to believe in. Heck, I could worship my dog, and that would be my own damn business, not yours. Just because my beliefs don't EXACTLY agree with yours doesn't mean that they're wrong. It doesn't mean that I'm any less of a freaking Christian than you.
If all Christians are like you---elitist, hypocritical, and not open to others values---then I'd rather NOT be a Christian. That totally turns me off to the whole religion. Well, I certainly didn't mean to offend you, and I certainly don't mean to speak down to you. Like I said, I apologize. All I was trying to say that a big belief in Christianity is giving it all up to God and letting him take care of it, instead of you taking your life in your own hands.

I didn't mean to come off as a big jerkface, but somehow I managed to do it anyway. I really don't want to give you the wrong idea of Christianity or myself. I'd love more than anything for you to keep an open mind about my faith, and I hope that you'll have questions and you'll look into it more. I realize that you can't do that if I'm here, spouting off at the mouth (er, keyboard), giving you the wrong impression of what and who I represent. Christians aren't like that. I'm not like that.
So, I hope you can put it all behind you, or us, or wherever it goes behind.
