Beware the white knight, for however shining the armor, they are always a tyrant at heart.
They may also be kind, munificent, patient; the heart has room for many things, but to don the trappings and step into the role, one must believe they possess a solution for someone else's troubles. One must believe they can not only recognize dragons, but also slay them.
As individuals and societies we may at times feel the need for such people, but try to remain cognizant of the seed of tyranny from which their deeds bloom.
