Gmarket haul #2
Sorry for the lack of updates.
*clears throat* While I was at work today.. I received a package! :D
Yesssss! It's from GMARKET AGAIN! :D
This time round isn't a beauty haul or what, just manhwa (known as comics/manga) and a blouse which I waited really really long! Apparently, One of the seller for the manhwa didn't know about the new system and didn't know they had my order.
After really really really long period of time, sending in my enquiries one by one to the customer service and waiting for their reply, the seller finally understood, received and sent out my order. *phew!* I thought the seller was just gonna run away! ><
I ordered on the 24th September, and arrived today (29th September). Yes, that's more than 1 month!
On a side note, it only took 2 days to the parcel to reach me! It was sent out on last Saturday (27th September) and received today (29th September). Hehe
Alright, now to unpacking it.. TADAAAA!
So what did I get this time round?
I got 3 different manhwas and 1 blouse for work! (:

Let's talk about my blouse first~

I feel that Makmaks clothes are on the sheer side though this is the most non-sheer blouse I've ever gotten from them, but the seller is always fast in sending out the items (:

And now to the manhwas! *drum rolls*
Firstly, I bought '아이돌 쇼핑
1-12(완)', which translates to 'Idol Shopping' (1-12 books, full)

I got this series from this seller: 호랑이책방
Something good about this seller is that, there are several copies of the entire series of the manhwa.

That means not only I get to enjoy the cheap prices, you can enjoy the cheap prices too! (:

The second one I got is... '나만의 공주님 [1-10완]'~ which translates to "Personalized Princess" (1-10 books, full)
I got this series from this seller: 시네마데이트 (Cinema Date)
This, is the seller who dragged the shipping for sooooo long.
Lucky the customer service wasn't that bad. I managed to get it in the end (:
I kept telling the CSO that I really really really wanted the item, so don't cancel but help to ask the seller.
I think gmarket had a change on the systems, this seller really didn't know that they got my order and didn't know how to use the new systems (which resulted in delayed response).

Lastly, I got.. '세상아 덤벼라 1-16 완결' which translates to 'Bring it on! World!' (1-16 books, full)

This series is bought from 북__아울렛 (book is out of stock though).
This series is the one that's tied with the yellow "ribbon" as you can see above (unpacking photo).
That caused some of the books to be bended.
Out of the three manhwa sellers, this seller replied the fastest to my question.
I like the way how they are eager to answer my questions by being fast (:
However, do note that there could be miscommunication as well.
I tried to communicate with the seller but the seller keeps misinterpreting my question.

All the manhwas I got are all secondhand, that explains the tags on the books.
But I still like it very much!
What's more, the spines of the books don't look torn at all! :D
아이돌 쇼핑 and 세상아 덤벼라 are even wrapped up!
And the tags on the book is actually on the clear wrapper! Double happiness! :DD
Since it's secondhand manhwas and I'm not expecting any free gifts from 마크막스 either, the seller who sold 세상아 덤벼라 to me really gave me a surprise!
세상아 덤벼라 was the last package I opened.
To my surprise, there were 18 books! And I wondered why, since the series only had 16 books.
TADAAAAAA!
The seller gave me 2 extra books, which I wanted the one on the left side! :D
One is book 11 and the other was book 14 though. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant surprise! (:
All three series was from the same author: 황미리 (Hwang Mi Ri).
That includes the 2 free books given as well too.
Total weight came up to a whooping 13.5kg~
Total shipping: KR₩38520 (approx. US$35.60, excludes domestic delivery fee)
Do note that most manhwa sellers requires domestic delivery fee of KR₩2500.
If domestic delivery fee is added, total shipping would be KR₩46020 (approx. US$42)
Tips and tricks: Since most manhwa sellers requires domestic delivery fee of KR₩2500, try to get your manhwas from the same seller. Other sellers may sell it cheaper, but after adding on the the domestic delivery fee, it may be more expensive than getting it from the same seller.
HOWEVER, it is also possible that you may have to pay the domestic delivery fee several times to the same seller. For this, I'm not sure why. But I sure know that it's appearing on my shopping cart and no matter how I try, I am unable to only pay one-time domestic delivery fee of KR₩2500 to just one seller.
It is possible that there are miscommunications with the sellers. So, it's good that sometimes you're using your own computer as you may be accessible to the CS Live Chat BETA, where you can communicate with the sellers with the help of the customer service officers. Besides that, you may be able to get faster answers rather than sending in your enquiries one by one (and sometimes, the waiting time to be replied can make one worry).
In any case, if you need to send the enquiries one by one (like me), when asking, put it in simplified terms. Like really really simple!
Example:
Original question: Hi. I've got this item that took ages to be delivered. Up till now, it's still 'On Request'. Can you help to ask the seller to expedite on the delivery?
Simplified question (in my own way): Hi. Can help me with this item? Item status is still 'On Request'. Can ask seller faster send out?
I know it sounds really rude, but sometimes, being like this can help the CSO to understand what you're saying. My Korean is really weak. I'm not so sure if 'it took ages' really meant 'it took very long/a lot of time' and if 'expedite' really meant 'expedite' in Korean.
Sometimes, it is possible that the CSO have very bad English. So just forgive them and use super simplified English. Makes your and the CSO's life easier too, and communication will be better among the parties. (:
